The weather in Vietnam can vary considerably between north and south. The north is best visited from October to April, while the south has a year-round tropical climate. The dry period from December to April is usually the best time to visit all of Vietnam.
Public transportation in Vietnam is cheap and extensive, making it easy to get around the entire country.
