Our tip!
Book the Hai Van Pass from Hue to Da Nang, you can go on the scooter yourself or you can go on the back of an easyrider. We ourselves had made the choice to go on the back, so you can see everything of the area and you are not busy riding the scooter. And wow, what an experience. We had a private tour just the two of us. So what can you expect? Breathtaking views, a swimming stop at a waterfall, a delicious lunch along the way and a serving of fun! This tour was one of the highlights of our trip.
Travel by Vietnamese public transport
You travel to Hue by plane, train, bus or easyrider. The city has a small airport with flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Within Hue, bicycles, motorcycles, and cabs are popular modes of transportation to visit the historic sites, including the Imperial City and the tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty.
